We have had collies in our home for decades. I am now able to be at home to watch over the babies, keep them socialized and have the time of my life! The collies have acres to play in and their own apartment for babies.

I have been to AKC shows and have a Champion! However, I am mostly concerned with the companion abilities of my puppies. Collies are "people dogs" and deserve a family life first.

I have experience with shipping puppies successfully. We are in central Illinois, near Champaign. For those who can drive it, we'd love to have you come here. 

Our collies are healthy and are emotionally stable. I keep the puppies up-to-date on shots, de-worming, have eye-checks with an Ophthalmologist. They are started with house training and are very sociable. The health of their parents is always maintained, long before a breeding even starts. I give my girls breaks from having litters. They have stronger babies by having time off.

Inquiring people need to be able to provide a nice set-up for their puppy. I like to know "your story" about your dog experience.

Collies are extremely smart and easy to own, yet sensitive to harshness. The new owner needs to understand their eagerness to please you. Collies are very aware of your emotions. Please use training techniques that are clear and firm, but mostly gentle.

You need to have a fenced yard for your puppy.

I raise rough collies only. They do need brushing to keep that lovely coat in good condition. They are so worth the attention.
